Under 5536, I did not have a performance score because some program, driver, or whatever apparently was providing bad info to Vista. I now have a performance score again--under 5600. I am pretty happy with it all things considered. I showed you mine below. So, please show me yours. ![]()

| I'm curious about this performance rating; do I really need to know? And if so, why? According to vista help file, I need to get software that requires my rating or less. Will software have ratings? |

| I don't think you need to know as long as your machine is doing what you want it to do Vista-wise. I suppose you might be able to use the meter to get some info to help you improve your performance. But, as crabby says, the meter is far from perfect. On the software issue, who knows? I think, for now, that one simply wants to avoid very old software versions--assuming they would even run on Vista.
