Program not saving info when it shuts down

I am using Firefox with the Tab Mix Plus addon. This addon saves your session when you shut down, and worked perfectly in XP.

But in Vista, it sometimes only saves some of the tabs.

Now, I'm sure I had read something about this on another site a while back, though I can't find it again to check.

Does Vista only wait a certain amount of time before automatically closing a program? If so, is there a way to make it always wait for the program to close?

Thanks.

It could be just be something Vista releated maybe just a bug...
If you post your issue to the Developers Forum which is http://tmp.garyr.net/forum/viewforum.php?f=2 maybe they could develop a fix.

Hope this helps.

Edit: I've just seen the forum, it looks like you've already posted a thread in there...
It is probably a Vista bug anyway...

FireFox has many problems related to Vista ... I think you can find your fix on the FireFox site... Firefox has listed many of the current BUGS and glitches it has on there site ... I have posted some links in reference to FireFox admitting it is there program and not IE...

I saw your links, about some security vulnerabilities. Attack vectors and some such.

But that's not my problem at all. It's not even close.

Unless you're referring to something else?

Only a suggestion to visit the FireFox site, and see all the things that are not working with FireFox...
2 suggestion is use IE... and see if you can then save the way you are suppost to save.... with no time to close a program or url... depends on which version your using.. you never mentioned that.
1. OS?
2. IE version?
3. Firefox version?
have you tested with out Firefox? what urls, or programs, are you using RC save as when your not suppost to. How are your tabs set to work, open in a new tab, or open in same tab.
http or ftp site?

please be more specific with your problem..
Other problems is that Firefox stated they are having MANY problems unrelated to IE.

1.

2.

some sample of Firefox errors that are not related to IE.. I like #1 best of all...

Sorry?

I don't think you understand what I'm having trouble with.

Tab Mix Plus is an addon for Firefox, which saves you Firefox session when you close it.

I can't see if this save properly in IE, as the addon is for Firefox.

Additionally, I'm not getting any errors. It's just not behaving the way it should on Vista. It behaved perfectly in XP.

But in any case, here's more details.

OS: Vista Home Premium
IE version: doesn't matter, since this is not an issue concerning IE at all. This is purely a conflict between Firefox (with the Tab Mix Plus addon) and Vista.
Firefox version: 2.0.0.5, the latest release

It isn't any specific urls that don't save. It's fairly random as to which ones (if any) don't save properly.

Links open in the same tab unless I middle-click.

All http, though it shouldn't make a difference.

Yep. That's what I have installed, and it used to work perfectly.

Unfortunately, none of the problems discussed are the problem I'm having.

I've also posted this to the addon's forums. But I posted it here because it seems to be a Vista-specific problem.

That link is for if you don't want to save your session all the time, and only works with the default Firefox session save. Tab Mix plus replaces that function, and (additionally) is incompatible with that linked addon.

The above link with 25 problems, yes, I looked at it. As I said before, none of those 25 problems are the same problem I'm having.
