| Put simply... it all comes down to bottlenecks... therefore you do not wish to purchase anything which will be held back by components you already have. In this respect, upgrading to 1GB is a good idea and buying a graphics card is also a good idea. Make the graphics card cheap and cheerful as the processor will quickly become the bottle nexk if you get something too lavish. I suggest a high end nvidia 6 series or low end 7 series. crabby |

| Back again! Okay, Creative states they are not going to develop a driver for the Creative Live! Series (WDM) sound card. And when I looked to Dell for a replacement, they show a refurbished version of what I have only. What choices do I have for replacing this card with something that is Vista compatible? Will other cards fit my Dimesions 2400? Or am I out of luck? |
