Has anyone encountered this message when signing on to vista:
'rnpipe svr(00000001 provmgr server) not found'. It slows down my vista signin a long time!

Protector Suite QL 5.2-5.4

Don't remember if I sent this before, so here goes! I never intentionally installed
Protector Suite QL 5.2-5.4. I searched on my PC, and couldn't find a reference to it. How do I get rid of it?

It sounds like an erroneous registry entry that is searching for a non existent server. Have you tried using regedit to search for 'provmgr'? You could then just delete the offending entry. You could also get some software to do it like Registry Booster. Or you could simply restore your system to before it happened?
