Runtime

When trying to go to some web sites I keep getting a 'runtime error'. Why? I have gone to this site before with no problem and now I keep getting the error message. This morning I tried several times and kept getting the error message and now I tried again and it went through fine. What is going on??!!! I am ready to trash Vista and go back to XP!!!

Cause:

The run time or run-time error message can be caused by:
Confliction with TSR or other running program
Software issue
Computer Virus
Memory issue
Do you get an error number and I would say you are using IE for browser .
More reading on this site Runtime errors plus not to stick up for Vista but it is a run time error no a Vista error but I am sure some one here will help or lead you in the right direction.

As a default script debugging is disabled, its more of a feature for developers and due to the amount of bad scripts out there its not supposed to be turned on for everyday use.

The chances are that when you have installed some software its changed the default value.

luckily, its simple to get it back to the way you had it:

(assuming your on internet explorer)

Open Internet Explorer.
Click on Tools and select Options.
Click on the Advanced tab.
Put a check in the box next to Disable script debugging

This should make your browsing much more pleasurable
