I have Vista Home Premium. I just installed a Microsoft Natural Wireless Laser Mouse 6000 and the screen saver does not work. I uninstalled the wireless mouse and the screen saver works. Just curious if anybody else has seen this problem and if you might know how to fix it. Thanks!!! |

| Do your computers sleep OK. Wireless mice and keyboards sometimes interfere with sleep. If they interfere with sleep, then they probably interfere with screensavers. I think there is an update that is supposed to cure this problem, but its creates others--video related as I recall. SP1 might cure the problem without causing the second. You could do some research on this issue.

| I might have the terms mixed up. My new Vista Home Premium - the screen stays on all the time. Therefore, there is no sleep mode nor a screen saver. I've gone in and picked a a screen saver and 5 minutes time. Clicked Apply, then OK or whatever. Screen stays on all the time. This computer came with Vista SP1 preinstalled. I've done a search and it mostly talks about XP issues. Few out there about Vista. |

| Cool. If the update is the one I am thinking of, it also may resolve sleep issues. However, it sometimes has problems getting along with NVIDIA drivers. If you are not having a video problem, then all is good.
