Some interesting reading on Vista

http://chris.pirillo.com/2006/05/24/...ista-feedback/

I started but I couldn't read the whole thing. I personally found it to be bribble. I mean biased statements like "Installing OSX is a much better experience" and "Norton has been crap since...." negated all the other comments. Then there's the fact that at some points the author says there are too much information in the interface and then at other points there's not enough. Windows is not tailored to one individuals taste since there are many people around the world using it. The fact that this is a beta I find it funny that he is picking things up as if it's almost to be released to the public. This is just my take on the article I would like to hear what other people think?

Wow, there's no way I could get through all of that without falling asleep. I don't have a problem with him finding fault - someone has to point out all the little problems - as long as he realizes IT'S ONLY A BETA!

I know he finds the faults but it's his biased comments that kinda negate the faults he finds that irritate me.

He is right, installing osx is much easier.. Ask every mac laptop owner why they run bootcamp and xp and why they will ultimately run vista when they can.

There is a reason why people with macs are flocking to MS OS's.... and it has nothing to do with the ease of installation. You don't install an os every day, so the inconvience factor is very minimal in the scheme of things.

Guys... this article states it set out to find problems with Vista so we can't really complain when it finds them... I do however think some of his 'problems' are completely ridiculous like the first one he mentions!!! Honestly, that article isnt worth the data it takes up... but then thats just my opinion

I use my iBook a great deal and don't have Bootcamp. Why would I need Bootcamp? I agree that installing OS X is a breeze. If fact, when I bought Tiger, I installed it 3 ways on separate partitions of an external firewire--clean, archive and install, and update. All the installations worked perfectly and took little time. Also, I have not heard about the flocking phenomenon you mention. What is your evidence? Why is the flocking occurring?
