I was looking though my startup program list and I noticed I have 3 instances of "Microsoft Windows host process (Rundll32)" on that list. I don't know when that happened, but I don't think that there are supposed to be three of them starting at the same time. Taskmgr shows three running as well. My question, what does that process do, and if I disable 2 of them, will that adversely affect my computer? Thanks. |

| It's very important that you take care of rundll32 issues. Although it could be a glitch with Vista, there's always the possibility of malware, e.g. a keylogger from hackers trying to get access to your system. Verify a program recently installed, especially if it was downloaded or it's a peer-to-peer application. Again, it might not be anything serious, but you shouldn't take chances. |
