Hi there, I have the following problem. I want my vista pc to logon automatically to a password protected website. So i don't want a popup with a password, but the logon process should go automatically and the password is saved in the pc. the microsoft sites says: Open User Accounts, by clicking START, Control panel, User Accounts in the left pane, you can click Manage your network passwords. Click Add. IN the log on box, you cal give the URL. The URL i give isn't recognized. in the website. Is there a relation with any other vista setting ? I'm really convinced the link is typed correct. If i browse to the link, the password dialog box still appeares. Can somebody help me with this, I'm trying all evening without any succes. Thanks. Greetings newbie: verhoe |

| following his method. s0121@hotmail.com is the only site of the more than 100 sites I use that need a password ... also hotmail is the only site that needs a "Certified Credential".

| Further testing I have added two different websites only, that I frequent. added the copy paste url from the browser as saved in favorites which brings me to the login page... ea site was case sensitive, and I had to move the check to website or program credential. "NOT WINDOWS LOGON CREDENTIAL"

| Apparently then you have some corruption some where. start --> cmd (run as admin) --> SFC /scannow then follow the instructions.
