I'm new with the whole Vista thing (having started using it two days ago) but yesterday I found that none of my windows appear in the taskbar. The only way I have of changing between windows is that new button in the Quicklaunch that says switch between windows, but it's getting very annoying to have to use that every time I want to switch between activities. When I go to the Properties of the Taskbar, I see that the Show window previews (thumbnails) box is unchecked and grayed out so I can't check it. Does anyone know what I can do to fix this? |

| There's the possibility that the taskbar has been resized. Try this: Right-click the Taskbar > Uncheck Lock the taskbar > Pull the handle to the left (Mouse pointer will change to a double-headed arrow when over the handle)

| I've been playing with that for a while and nothing is happening. I got a thumbnail preview to appear somehow (I have no idea how) and it was coming from underneath the Quicklaunch and that's where it looks like all the windows minimize to. |

| Can you provide a snip. Use the snipping tool > Start > Al Programs > Accessories > Snipping Tool (If you right click it, you can select to place the snipping tool on you Quick Launch toolbar)
