Unhappy Thinking Of Going Back To XP

Hi All

My laptop specs are Pentium M Centrino,512mb ram,100gb HD,ATI Radeon Mobility X300 64MB,

RAM upgrade would probably do it, though that isn't free and may not be cheap either. But when I added more RAM, the speed increased a lot.

look...if you really want to use vista u have to upgrade your computer. my previous config was: p4 @2.53 MHz/1GB RAM/256 video card ATI/250GB HD and the system with vista was simply not usable!! while xp was fast.
now I upgraded to core 2 duo 6300/2 GB RAM/256 MB DDR3 ATI card and it is very nice (vista).
of course with this config if I go back to xp will be veeery faaast!! but I like vista so much...I'll stay here

vista is a very demanding os

You are using the largest version of Vista available...and the memory you have is only fit for Vista Basic... please read the requirements for all versions of Vista...

No as far as I know. With XP you could remove some utilities, including games, background images and such. I have not seen that option on Vista.
