Hi everyone, I recently got a Toshiba Satelite A100 labtop. When in my house, since I have a router I can connect to the internet. Now my school has Wifi but when I'm there I can't connect. Now there is a solution online to change my settings in networking and sharing centre but I still can't connect to wifi. The weird things is my computer is seeing the connection but can\t connect to wifi. Has anyone else had this issue? |

| it could be that your school has some security mesures like a WEP key. It would seem silly for a school not to have wireless encryption.

| I have had no such problems anywhere--including many, many places other than home. Try connecting as a private network first, and see what happens. No keys should be involved unless you have been "asked" to provide one.

| Have you removed the "Default" only connection ? My system defaulted to "my home" and all I have had to do is remove the "DEFAULT Connect only" and now I have most of the time several options to connect to different networks.

| Here's hoping they don't just link it to their only wireless network and it works straight off the bat crabby |
