| You actually have received your Express Upgrade Disk? You are the first I have heard of. But, regardless, I don't know why an Express Upgrade Disk/key would be any different than any other upgrade disk/key. But, whatever, good luck if, and when, you try the repair install.

| I ordered my upgrade disk really early on and have not yet received it. I see what you mean about the booting. Hummm? Yep, we'll see.

| Getting back to the connection issue; I had that problem just about two weeks ago and I fixed it by resetting my DSL gateway. It's a router and DSL modem all-in-one, so if you are using a modem and a router, resetting both may do the trick. There should be a 'pin' size hole, which you can insert a toothpick in to push in for a few seconds. It'll reset your modem or router to factory defaults. Make sure to get the IP address for both, the router and modem, before proceeding. You'll need the IP adress to reenter your account and settings information. |

| OK back from class... its clearly Vista's problem or some setting inside Vista thats not allowing me through to the internet. I still cant get online using both Schools Ethernet or Wireless connection. Where as before I with XP I can get online anywhere.. Home... school... hotel wireless or wired... I think I'm going to switch back to XP by the weekend if no one has a real solution. |

| As mentioned, a repair install is worth a shot. Just start it running and go to dinner, do some homework, or watch a little TV.
