Unwanted Maximize/Minimize and IE Opening

Very often when i click on anything the window will maimaize or minimize. No pattern to it. Ill click to close a window and it will maximize. Or click to open a link and it does it. Now when i click on something like closeing a window, moving window, clicking within a word document, or even just clicking on the desktop Internet Explorer opens up. I say about 1 out of every 10 mouse clicks IE opens up. IT IS BUGGING ME!!! Please help.

From the start

This problem happens as soon as i run Vista for the first time. No downloads or updates added yet. So got to be Vista or my HP dv9000t Pavilion. Im betting on Vista.

Well thanks for answering my question

If you havent got thrid party software installed to control your mouse I would say a repair install is a good way to go.
