Hi, When I open Explorer (right clicking the start button) it always opens to some random file. How can I change the setting so the explorer page opens at the file of my choosing, displayed the way I want it? Sorry if this is extremely basic, any help would be most welcome. Cheers Brad |

| It is simple, but not necessarily basic. Click Start > All Programs > Accessories > Right-Click Windows Explorer > Shortcut Tab > Next to Target, add the path to the new folder. If you don't know the path to the folder, simply go to the Folder, press the Shift key > Right-click the folder > Select Copy Path > Paste the path next to Target You can get more info here: Command-Line Switches for Windows Explorer
