Vista Explorer Menu

Hi,

When I open Explorer (right clicking the start button) it always opens to some random file. How can I change the setting so the explorer page opens at the file of my choosing, displayed the way I want it?

Sorry if this is extremely basic, any help would be most welcome.

Cheers

Brad

felix8406 will become famous soon enough

It is simple, but not necessarily basic.

Click Start > All Programs > Accessories > Right-Click Windows Explorer > Shortcut Tab > Next to Target, add the path to the new folder.

If you don't know the path to the folder, simply go to the Folder, press the Shift key > Right-click the folder > Select Copy Path > Paste the path next to Target

You can get more info here: Command-Line Switches for Windows Explorer
