is Vista freezing?


Hi: I have a new Dell comp preloaded with vista....I have had sites freeze up while on the net...a "appHang" or "Hangapp" error..I am typing this waiting for it to happen again...just to get the right terminology....is it maybe a java thing?Description:

More than likely it is the PHISHING Filter... Disable the damn thing.
Really suks, and if the site has ever been sited for PHISHING it will hang.

Disable and post back.

Try this: Go to Tools > Manage Add-ons > Enable or Disable Add-ons. Next to "Show", select Add-ons currently loaded in Internet Explorer. If you don't recognize the publisher, click the add-on and select Disable if it has been enable. You can do the same with Add-ons that run without requiring permission, though must of these add-ons are from Microsoft.
