Vista probs

I am having problems, after the install I am finding the computer very slow and gerky, I had a problem like this some years ago when 98 upgrade came out and it was a problem with Microsoft Plus after I uninstalled Plus all worked fine, could the problem be plus or has anyone got a better solution

Kelvin

Kelvin. I'd suggest you go to Control Panel / System and Maintenance / Performance Rating and Tools and see if it shows any particular Performance Issues on that screen.

We'll be happy to help you root out the problem, but you'll have to give us a bit more info.

Have you tried using generic Windows drivers for your mouse and sound and/or looked for updated specific drivers for them?

Did you run the Vista Upgrade Advisor? http://www.microsoft.com/windowsvist...r/default.mspx. I was under the impression that Vista and AMD's did not get along well.
