Two Issues

Two issues show up today from nowhere:

1. First one has to do with Citrix System, Inc. Basically, it mentions that the software has known issues with Vista. I went to Citrix website but there are no updates available to fix the issue.

2. The other problem reads, “Problem has been fixed in Windows Vista final released 1New

Anyone else encountered these two issues?

I have been told a few times that bugs have been fixed in newer builds. Otherwise, no I don't know why they would have just occured.

What I get from MS is that, yes, they know about the problem, and yes, they have the solution, but if I want it, I need to buy it. They are not going to provide the fix to this Beta, although we are doing then a favor by using our resources to test the OS.

Nope, the fixes never come. The "fixed" message is just a teaser to get us to buy and to talk up Vista positively.

I wanted to add the two snips I took. One of the problems has to do with indexing.

I fixed the problem; I reinstalled Vista. I was getting tired of getting the indexing message problem, and then being told that the issue would be fixed with RTM. I actually installed the x64 version and the issue is gone, at least for now.

By the way, after I cleaned installed x64, I ran the Cleanup Tool and it deleted the windows.old folder completely. It actually got rid of 21GB of trash.
