| One thing you could try is to change the location of Documents to your NAS storage. Right click "Documents" > Properties > Location tab. Also, you can open your User account and follow the same steps I just mentioned to change the location of all your folders, e.g. downloads, music, etc. It's not a good idea to have the location of those folders point to their default location, or the "C" drive. If Vista or XP crash, everything in those folders might be lost forever.

| Well, that is an iteresting idea. I will have to think about that one, as I have 2 HDD's in my pc, one is my XP installation, the other is my Vista 64 installation. Perhaps I could relocate 'my documents' the the second internal HDD and than back up to the NAS. Hmmmm..... |

| I heard from GenieSoft today. They tell me that the issue was much bigger than just an individual fix, in fact the entire application was never written for Vista 64 bit. So now they are going to 'recompile' the entire application and publish a Vista 64 bit version. I will be able to download the new 64 bit version for free sometime this month. It seems that they 'forgot' that Vista comes as 64 bit as well as 32 bit. So. it's manual back up's for now, but at least I knwo that my issue will be solved, even if I have to wait a few weeks. It is shocking that they just did not think about the OS needing two versions. |

| Don't they have a Win XP 64Bit version? If they do, then they should have assumed that Vista would be available as 64Bit as well. But then again, things happen and perhaps it really didn't cross their minds at all. Since you brought this up to their attention, perhaps they can compensate you with a few free extras!
