I bought a new computer (Vista Home x64) a couple of days ago and I am experiencing a very interesting problem. Anytime I return to the computer after taking a break from work my monitor shows "No Sync", so I move the mouse and my desktop shows only the desktop versus the programs that I had opened before I went to take my break. As long as I am working on the computer I experience no problems. The problem only seems to arise when I take a break and come back to the "No Sync" on my screen. Could one of the computer's power saving modes be doing this? |

| Yeah, it's just the computer going in to a low power state. As long as it turns back on fine you don't have an issue... If you want to stop it, right click the desktop... got to personalize... click screen saver... then power settings near the bottom... then on the left you can 'choose when to turn off the display' and 'change when the computer sleeps'. Hope this helps crabby |
