Sorry guys, as much as I loved Windows Vista, I have went back to Windows XP, I was really starting to get fed up with the 'Explorer has stopped working' message constantly, and the fact that I couldn't use Nero. |

| I hardly have any problems with Vista, i would defiantly say Vista is a lot more reliable than XP. The graphic card base UI is miles more reliable and presentable, The explorer has massive improvements since XP and can handle more apps at one time. But at the end of the day it all depends on what machine you are running on. If you are getting lots of explorer.exe has stooped working and this program is not responding errors it COULD be your using low end hardware and its using all your recourses causing stuff to not respond in time.

| I Love my Vista Business, I am just waiting to get a new sound card when the drivers come out for one of the cards, that I am looking at and I will be set. Vista is as stable as my old xP install ,and maybe a little faster. I have been testing Vista since november which is a good thing conpared to some people who just decide to do an upgrade or clean install for the first time to Vista and than the problems start, or maybe if they did some research they are prepared for the experience. |

| i havent seen the explorer error in vista since way back in the early beta tests but as mentioned its probably hardware related problem. you can now get a vista compatible version of nero and it works very well, im running it myself...hope you can figure out the problem and come back to vista soon its a good OS. |

I had a driver that Vista warned about constantly. But, it would not let me remove it either. The machine uses an Intel dual core cpu with 1 GB ram, yet all apps ran noticeably slower. Most of all though, even though I turned of security messages on my Vista Business edition, I still received warnings incessantly. I even received one saying that my Logitech mouse needed permission to complete the task. . . my mouse needed permission. . . unbelievable. I pulled the drive, bought another, and reinstalled XP Pro. At some point, perhaps after a service pack, I'll pop the Vista drive back in and give it another go. Until then, I'm happy to get my XP back. :-) /*tom*/
