Lucky me! on the Asus website my mobo has been given the "Vista Premium Ready" Sticker

That also means... THEY HAVE VISTA DRIVERS FOR MY JMICRON!!!!!!!!! WOOHOO!

Ok.... so lets see if these vista drivers help me out and let vista boot when it starts up. and.... there WHQL drvers well it says they are!

Well good news!

It worked! No blue screen of death!

So.. if your trying to install vista and you have an sata hard drive go to your mobo's website and see if they got some vista drvers for your sata controller
