I have my Live Mail configured to handle mail from three accounts. One is at hotmail.com, and the other two are through my ISP.

I created an email video which I was using to test the limits of my ISP email and received a timeout from their smtp server. I cancelled the send request (at least I thought I did) and deleted the email. This morning when I signed on I dicovered that Live Mail (although it loaded up with no errors) was hung trying to send the email that I had cancelled and deleted. I was unable to perform any task (cancel the send) in Live Mail.

Logging off wasn't sufficient, I had to reboot Vista to get it to work again.

I had a similar, though not so drastic problem. When I first installed Live Mail, I configured my email settings wrong. I then sent an email. It failed, of course. So I fixed the settings. I didn't see the old email anywhere, including the Drafts, so I rewrote it and sent it again. This time, both emails got sent (which was a little embarrasing). I don't know where the unsent emails "hide", but they hide somewhere!

Since I have multiple accounts being managed, this might not be where it is on your computer, but I have an "On this computer" list which has and "Outbox" folder. This is where unsent emails reside until they are sent.

Can you tell me what settings you used to get Hot Mail hooked up to WLM?

make sure you have a HOTMAIL acccount setup and working ... then when in WLM import the hotmail account.
