What's the deal with this? It is one of the features that I really liked. Windows Vista Home Premium OS. Anyone have any idea what is going on? Thanks, Chuck |

| Not really. I had the same problem. So, I took all my music off my machine, shut down, and restarted. Then, I put my music back. It found it including most album info. It took awhile to get it all done. And, some album info was not found. I'd be very careful about right clicking on an album to add its info. I tried this--doing what seemed like the logical thing--and ended up with two albums of the same type with the music split between them. I cleaned all this up using the process mentioned above. I resolved not to try that again.

| I really think that my whole Media Player is screwed up. This one on my laptop works fine. I have had trouble with WMP not even starting at all. I did system restore last night and it began working again, but no downloads of album art and songs. I then tried the laptop and all was well. I am trying to go to an earlier restore point and if that doesn't work, I think that I may just plan to do a new clean install. I just hate to have to fool with it. I am finally trying to get all my music ripped. I bought a 250 gig external hard drive and wanted to get it done. Thanks for the assistance. You folks are always helpful. Regards, Chuck |

| Some Vista installations don't seem to work properly. If you haven't got SP1 installed, try that and due to the nature of the upgrade it may resolve your problem and give you a better system too! crabby |

| Confirming the album is where my second series of problems began.
