I am using CA EZAntivirus
have a year to try it out. Seems to be working good, updates are downloaded without any problems.

Thanks, Tardbarn and Turbostorm. It's good to know we have workable choices.

PC-cillin seems to go good with 5536. At least so far so good.

Well, I used AVG but its interface isnt aero compatible which makes for annoying popups... So not bothering with an AV atm

I am using CA eTrust and I heard from a few people about crashes and hungups. Has anyone else experienced this? So far I have not had any problems.

Had trouble with Avast in 5536 it wouldn't startup with Vista no matter what i did..then i tryed AVG free, that worked fine till i restart my pc it threw an error message saying AVG could not start please reinstall the application if the problem continues, Did that and its fine up to now. I don't know why Microsoft didn't just build windows one care into vista then there would be no need for installing an anti virus.

I find it strange that not many people talk about Symantec or McCafee. I wonder if they'll be around for long. Anyone has anyone has any opinions or suggestions as far as obtaining these softwares? As far as Micorsoft inlcuding antivirus, I think they'll be sued if the did...I would love to see it though.

Norton AV is too intrusive and slows things down too much--at least on XP Pro. I don't know if it will work on Vista. The McAfee Suite is excellent, but it is not compatible with Vista.
