I had a shortcut of the Snipping Tool on my Quick Launch. A week ago I updated the Avast anti-virus application. Once the system restarted, a message indicating that windows was configuring "the updates" appeared. Ever since, the snipping tool has disappeared from my laptop. When I clicked on the shortcut, it could not find the application. I have done manual, as well as using explorer search, and system restore, but to no avail. Other than reinstalling Vista, anyone has any ideas? |

| Thanks Crabby. Sorry for the delay, but sometimes a post can quickly disappear. I found your post while browsing through all threads. I know you mentioned on another post how some members post a question or issue and never send a reply whether the solution posted solved their issue. There's possibility that this is the reason. Anyway, thanks. I got the Snipping tool back on. |
