Hi Friends:

RC1 waiting is getting boring. We haven't said much about what programs we have installed and are using successfully in Vista. I'll show you mine if you'll show me yours. Here are mine. I also am using a driver that allows conversion from USB to serial that doesn't show up below.

Well.... nothing I have tried to install hasnt worked... but then again I havent installed much Great idea to grab a list though! I think I will go on an install binge this evening! Oh btw what media player do you use? I use vlc but it doesnt support the accelerated desktop... still more efficient than mp11though! Also Znod... grab Firefox beta 2, its alot faster than 1.5 and has some snazzy features like IE7!

Well, ive now got build 5472 installed and i got Steam working as well. and the games play ok(ish) bit jumpy now and then. Ive also got skybrbroadband installed and working fine as well

Thanks for telling me about Firefox beta 2. I might get it. I use iTunes. I have the On Demand service from Music Match Juke Box, but have not been able to get mmjb to work. When I start the program, all appears well, but then I receive a message saying that the program can't connect to the internet. And, I haven't been able to figure out why. I have made mmjb an expecption in Window's firewall even though I don't think that doing so should be necessary. Getting mmjb to work is the second of my final two get-it-to-work Vista projects. Any thoughts?

I havent used mmjb... buuuuuuut;

Depending on the network configuration of your system, Musicmatch Jukebox may not be able to automatically detect your Internet Connection.

So you can bypass this by;

- Open Musicmatch Jukebox.
- Click the "Options" menu.
- Click the "CD Lookup/Connectivity" tab.
- Check the "Disable Internet Connection Check" checkbox (at the bottom of the window).
- Click the "OK" button.
- Close Musicmatch Jukebox.
- Reopen Musicmatch Jukebox.

That may help you... it also may not at all.. but give it a whirl!

Cany get MMJB to work?? Ill download it and see if i can get it to work ok or not.
