TV Tuner?

Can any one recommend an inexpensive TV tuner that will work on a 64-bit Vista system?

I am using the ATI TV Wonder 650. It works well, but see the second post in this thread: http://www.vistababble.com/forums/in...ighlight=tuner. And, airman, do you have any thoughts about the issue I have raised?

I had the HVR-1800 and had an issue with it it was DOA so i returned it for the HVR-1600 and so far am pleased with the results. The software is a little tricky let it install the Vista drivers in Media center, than install the WinTV software that comes on the install cd.Then I had problems with the remote and had to download the new drivers from there web site , but now it works perfectly, and it gets clear Qam channels on my cable. The picture is as good as TV itself, and record's well. Good Luck the one Znod memtioned has good reviews and there is one by Sapphire for $52.00 on Newegg

I use Leadtek's Winfast TV2000XP Expert and it has worked well with Vista and XP. They probably have later models now, but they are inexpensive.

And of course they have a driver download page.

I need one that will give HD (at least 1080i) after descrambling by a cable box and with full-screen on. Any thoughts? I prefer an external, but ...?

I'll do it; thanks much. I am taking my wonder back tomorrow (had it less than Fry's 30-day return policy). It just doesn't get the resolution job done. It's good in all other ways, well, except the schedule provider was a no show.

I just tried Nero Home for analog TV reception last night and it is not that bad no remote but it works, can't wait for the new AMD 5000+ Black edition to replace the 4000+ to get her for this system with the M2NSLI Duluxe motherboard it should almost conpare with my C2D 6750 but not quite according to the benchmarks. Good Luck with the tuners I did a lot of research myself but couldn't afford the one I really wanted this time around maybe another time unless I take it back like you are doing to CC. I have the WinTV 150 in my C2D system and it is real clear.
