Hey,

Ive been offline for a couple of days because my friends at college were on the computers and out of the blue came up with an amazing idea for a website. We have done research and checked out the net and cant find any websites that do the same thing so its pretty much an original idea. Obviously I cant say what it is but our tutor in web design and programming said its brilliant and hes even going to help us set it up.

Although the website wont be about Windows Vista it will require Vista in order to use some of the ideas we have in mind. Its going to be a kind of Vista integrated website type thing . Hehe OMG I badly want to tell everyone what it is but my friends would literally murder me hehe.

We are going with our tutor on Monday to see the funding department and pitch our idea and hopefully get the money we need to set it up. So exciting

Vista is the OS for the 21st century so we are 'hopefully' going to create a website for the 21st century.

I know its all vague at the moment but what do you think of a website+vista integration type thing?

I'll give more details on Monday if we get the funding I promise

I don't exactly know what to think. But, if you tutor, thinks its a great idea and you get your funding, then I'll bet it will be a unique, fun, and intersting site. Good for you and your friends.

Thanks for all your comments I appreciate everyone of them and love you all "Mwah" xxx. Just letting you know that we are officially doing this project now because the college loved our idea aswell and gave us the initial funding that we need .

We started work on Tuesday and are starting to make progress, atleast in the planning stages. Firguring out what we want the site to have, how it should look and work and then getting the programming done to make it come alive. Software part is already underway and my tutor Mr Houston is very enthusiastic because he hasnt stopped tapping on his keyboard for two days hehe.

Ive setup a blog which is the temporary home for all the information regarding the project and how its progressing that sort of stuff.

Hey,

My mate Michael just gave me this little program, he said it checks if your computer can connect to the Zunburn servers. We are close to releasing Zunburn now so check make sure you can use it. Ive tried it and works ok for me.

We had loads of hits with the connection test, over 2000+ which is great. Noone reported problems connecting to the servers even though they were down yesturday hehe.

If you tried ZCTest and it worked for you then try the early IM client. Its been improved a whole lot since this one was altered for Zunburn but it still has basic functionality. Not sure if this works outside the college network but you can try for nowt. Programmers wont let me give the BETA out yet, there meanies .
