i used to be with them and they are by far the best ISP in the UK.. i only left them as i cant get adsl where i live.. so i got cable

First off they send me a massive Bill for £170, then when my router is on the blink they cant help me diagnose the problem because "Windows Vista is an unsupported Operating System". The point of this post is that if your running Windows Vista, BT Help and Support is totally useless. Microsoft have given the Months to get there products and staff Vista Ready and they simply haven't bothered.

If i had it my way i would ditch BT altogether, But its near enough impossible in the UK unless you live in a cable network area. Evan when you switch to third party's like TalkTalk BT still have the rights to your line.

I am just amazed. I have read what all of you Brits have said about BT. And, including you, I have never heard anyone say anything nice about BT. What is BT exactly? Is it a government-run provider? Or is it like Ford and GM?

bt is not goverment run so yea like ford i suppose.. just a telecoms company but they own just about every phone line in the contry. ISP's have to pay bt so much per month to use ADSL on that line

Couldn't have put it better myself Znod, Yes you probably wont here anything good about BT because there is no good stuff! I'm thinking of reporting them to Ofcom because everyone on the first row of my street cant use there home telephone. Ofcom is the office of communications, If you have any problems with compunctions from Telephone to Television these guys can help you put it right, if not they take legal action on the company's breaking there terms on the contract we sign.....makes you wonder how BT are still in business

The worst thing about BT is that they aren't regulated by Ofcom! Which means they are free to do as they like! They have no rules on timelines for migrations etc... and they are a monopoly basically. It sucks

Back when i was at my parents house i signed them up to UKFSN (Enta reseller) and its all been fairly good so far!
