Can I have Vista send an email upon writing to a directory?

Hi,

I have a camera that is motion-sensitive. It records little 5 second clips and writes them to a file.

I want my machine to automatically email me whenever this file is written to. If it could attach the file along with the email, great. If not, notification should be enough... although I would really like the file to be instantly copied from that local machine to another secure location.

Thanks in advance. Is there a way to do this? Even just the email part? I could log in remotely and grab the file if I knew it existed. I just worry about the times I cannot do that quickly enough.

Best,

Josh
