Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr -- I hate it !! Cannot see what it is doing, progress etc. Is there something one needs to activate?

| I was using Auslogic defragger but came across a discussion in another forum about Vista's defrag. Some people actually praised it and posted this link about the new defragger and it's improvements over the XP version: http://blogs.technet.com/filecab/arc...g-is-cool.aspx Since then I have been using Vista's defrag on a set schedule.

| I can take it or leave it. When I used to defrag it would be at a time I wouldn't be around the computer so I wouldn't see it in action anyway. Vista bought about a lot of changes so I accept this as another one

| I got used to it - no map - and like the fact that I "can set it and forget it" (schedule). It runs in the background taking little resources and works well with superfetch to place the files that are used the most right up front. This permits Vista to access the most common files much faster. |
