Email Debate

My mates are all ways arguing about what email service is the "BEST". Now i keep on telling them they all virtually do the same thing but there having none of it. One of my mates is a die hard Gmail fan and the other is Yahoo. They say each has better UI's and usability and stuff and easier pop settings to remember. As you can tell this gets annoying after time and i was wondering whats your fave email service and why.

Personally i think they all do the same thing because i use email client software and don't use web sites to get to my mail. but if i had to rule one out it would be hotmail because you have to have a premium subscription to use it with client software.

I dont use yahoo... and like gmail.

Gmail's inbox auto updates when you have new mail (no refresh needed). It also has useful search links. It has a great spam filter and the capacity is huge!

Also... because it's new I managed to get a great address

Email-Smemail:

Can't get excited about email--like cell phones and instant messaging. I just send and receive messages. I have a number of free/good accounts--5 at Cox Cable (my dog's use one of them); one at work; and hotmail because I need it a Windows Live, or whatever it is, from some purposes.

I use MSN. I have had a MSN account for 10+ years. I used to pay for the service but now it is included with my Verizon DSL account.

Although I don't really prefer it above all others, I am used to it and how it works. It also comes with free antivirus, firewall and spyware software.

I also have a hotmail account and I use Groupwise 7 for my government email address.
