I have read a lot of posts regarding Windows File and Printer sharing problems and as opposed to trying to reply to individuals, I thought I would post a new thread. I have a mixed network of Windows Vista, Windows XP and Windows 2000 myself and had a bear of a time getting my folders, files and printers shared across the network. I visited every forum looking for what you would think would be a simple solution... but everyone seems to have a different "trick" to do this but with all of the various firewalls out there and differnet Windows confirations, nothing seemed to work 100% until someone turned me on to a program called HomeNet Manager. I downloaded it and with a little help from their technical support group was up and running - saving me HOURS! You can download it here: http://www.homenetmanager.com Good luck! Jason |

| Thanks Jason. I am glad the program helped you. Such programs are not for me; I'd rather force Vista to comply with my will, although doing takes some time sometimes. ![]()
