When I download images straight from my camera into my new pc with vista home premium, as soon as I start to work on the images in cs2, the whole lot freezes and tells me the icc profile is not valid. As both my camera and cs2 are set to Adobe 1998 I cannot understand this, so what I have had to resort to is to download images into my old pc with xp and then transfer them into the new one where they behave correctly. This is driving me round the bend and is eating up my relatively small hard drive on the old pc, and defeats the purpose of the new one as I end up working the images on the old one. I am a student studying photography and the new pc was supposed to make my life easier, not to dement me- help please! |
