Has anyone managed to get their headphones working in Vista Ultimate, it doesn't matter what I do, they just don't work, any ideas.

I have a Creative SB X=Fi soundcard

THanks in advance for any support on this

My headphone work rather well.
I am not using Creative Sound.
Have you configured your sound card correctly. ???
almost every time I find a sound problem with speakers, or headphone, it is misconfigured sound card.

No problem here either. Plugged it in and went to work.

Check headphone wire and connector.

You havent mentioned HOW you are conecting these headphones. Do you have a platinum card, and are you using the front panel audio? Do speakers work?

Basically, I have an X-Fi and it works fine so you are doing something wrong.
