I am starting a TEST from cFOS in Germany for there internet connection shaping.
It is FREE for 7 Days ... then you can send them the required info and they will inturn send you a FREE license...
NO BAD.
1. My ISP is the new wireless system... with a 20 to 32 mile range...
2. They switched to PPOE - why I'll never know...
3. Ask cFos for the PPPOE program called 7.20 installed and it simply does not work...
4. went back to cFos and download the new cFos v 4.00 program...
it has installed and seems to be working
The reason i mention this is PPPOE in the USA might be different than other countries. Why I do not need a dialup connection. I am Wireless... so have no tele or cable lines... so if one version does not work for you and you want to TEST... try the other version.
It might help it might not... but to me
BETA Testing is FUN.. yes it also can be NERVE RACKING...
