| I own more than 1 version of Vista. for those that might have a Install Problem... If you bought a UPGRADE Version... your KEY is only GOOD for Upgrade installation. How do I install if the Key is only Upgrade. You can upgrade from a Previous Version of Windows called Upgrading. or answer: 1. Boot to your DVD, make sure you set your BIOS to boot from CD Rom or DVD... 2. When it comes to Insert Key... say NO. and YES you want to continue with out using your KEY... comment: All DVD's can Clean Install.. if it is LEGIT. 3. Once you have the Clean Install working.. You have 30 days FREE, actually you have 27 days, then you will receive a Notice either Activate or your version will go into reduced mode. 4. while you are logged on/in insert your DVD and when ask to UPGRADE say yes... then use your UPGRADE KEY. Upgrade KEYS will only work as UPGRADE. not CLEAN Installs. This has been since Windows 95...nothing new... but very important to understand... I do hope that I have explained this so that all can understand. UpGrade KEYS are for only UPGRADES...Not Clean Installs.
