I have been thinking about getting a Laptop never had one and not sure i will like one any suggestion on one for under 2000.00 US. Like the new thin Apple Air even but not sure it is in my budget.

There are many good laptops for under 2k. I'd check on the HP and Gateway sites--also at the brick and mortars that sell these brands. Dell also is being sold at brick and mortars.

You have a HP am I correct and does it come with a lot of pre-installed Hp software.

Yes, an HP and a Dell. The snip shows the HP stuff that comes with the unit.

That not to bad with a C2D in the Hp or not I just upgraded to the AMD 5000+ Black Edition and now my tuner card is screwed up I just can't win I might take it back scanning for channels right now keeps saying the digital cable service stopped running and goes into error reporting the 2.6 is running art 3.0 with a multiplier of 15 2 over stock with no increase to fsb which makes this cpu great for over clocking. ok thanks for the info.

You are welcome. Note that, of course, some of the HP software obviously is useful, and the rest is easily uninstalled.
