listen to this idiot!! he Apple no favours with his rants and misinformation

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YMop2zn1GR8

This guy is priceless!!! a prize chump!!! If he prefers Apple Macs, fine! I've no real problem with that. You pays your money and makes your choice.

However, just DO NOT go round insulting me and others for simply using Windows.

Listen to what he says first of all: "You are aware that Macs don't run Windows, right". Take it he's never heard of Boot Camp then. Right away, this tells me this guy is not only an idiot but he does not know what he's talking about.

He then scrolls a bit of misinformed text about how Macs use stell cases, not plastic (wonder if he's ever seen my metal PC case or a plastic iMac), how only Macs come with PCIe (wonder how my ATI 1600 graphic card works then) and the best bit, how OSX is worth MORE THAN $10,000!!!!!! Purrrlease!!!!!! I wonder if HE'd pay that much for it???

He also mentions that because Macs run OSX and not Windows (see first line of 3rd para) that a Mac with 1Gb of RAM is equiv to a PC running Windows with FIVE, yes FIVE Gb of RAM!!!!! And Mac apps take up HALF the space of their exact Windows equivalents!!!

I could go on but watch for your self and see if you can go a minute without shouting at your monitor. Not because he's an Apple fan(atic), but because he's pumping out such WRONG information with such anger. If this guy's in the computer business I would NOT take any advice from him and would advise anyone to do the same!!!

On another forum (where this fool was highlighted), someone did suggest it was an elaborate hoax. Howver, he seems to have made so many of these videos in YouTube. Too many to be a hoax in my opinion.

As I say, I like Macs (despite using Vista), dislike (some of) the users.

Anyway, sit back and laugh out loud!!!

ROFL... this guy's a bit crazy!

Thanks for pointing out how dumb so many people can be!

It's a shame because the reason both windows and macs are around is that they both have advantages!

Ah well... to each his own

What an Idiot, its people like him that stop me getting a mac. I love both Windows and Mac but a good percent of the Mac community are like him they think there helping the expansion of Mac users by dishing out this cult rubbish but they are making it worse. Just because i use a PC doesn't mean i have been sucked in by some big marketing scheme.

Macs would be a lot more successful if it wasn't for the minority of idiots that think its there duty as a mac user to hate anything Windows.

Lol. His statements are sound for video editing. It's just he dismisses the places where PCs shine... like gaming

Yes I agree, Video editing rules on the Mac, as the guy on the video said making a movie like King Kong? well I think that depends on the user but the hardware is more than capable.

I think its important as a Windows user to acknowledge that Macs are also good at doing certain tasks. If you hate Macs and you have never used one then you could be going down the road the guy on this video went.

As the saying goes "Don't Knock it till you have tried it"

Yeah that is strange, the over use of keyboard shortcuts is quite annoying too. Thats one up to Windows.

An intresting read would be a Windows Vs. Mac thread and let people post there likes and dislikes. Not a competition but more of a comparison if you know what i mean

I would think that is a great idea. I say 'would' as of course I realise that people will literally kill eachother over the issue! So, taking into account the fact that 'people' will post on it I probably wouldn't recommend the thread for atleast a few days (what with the recent craziness )

Yes I see what you mean, its always a difficult one. After thinking about it its one of those questions with no answer really, Its been battling it out for years and i still don't have a reason to say witch is better. But i will shut up now before this thread turns into a battleground for Windows and Mac Enthusiasts.
