 I'm posting this article on this thread because I could not locate the IE7 thread. When the final version of Vista rolls around and you fire up your PC for the first time, Internet Explorer will provide a list of search engines and will provide you a chance to choose which one you want to set as the default. The list of search engines will include Google, Yahoo, Ask.com, and others.
