Office Outlook 2007

Am running the 2007 version of Outlook on Vista.

Have created two accounts and prompted in the associated box in the Control Panel -> mail, the box which should "Prompt for a profile to use".

However, this box isn't working correctly, when I start my computer, it gives me the prompt and if I finish my session on one profile quickly, I may get the prompt box when closing Outlook to check my second profile.
If I leave Outlook open for a few minutes or even moments, I have to restart my computer in order to receive the prompt box again so I can switch profiles.

Any advice what to do?

I always say you learn something new every day did not even now there was a feature like that in Outlook, do you have one set as default, which I see is an option for the setup of the account. I have a question can you use this to set Outlook to have two different profiles for different e-mail accounts like say hotmail and yahoo just to give an example or is it more for a person account.

You don't need Outlook for Yahoo or Hotmail, they are accounts/email programs in their own right.
In Outlook you should be able to have two different profiles for two different accounts indeed, like one for my work and one private one.

I see I wish I never clicked on it because now I have the profile pop up every time I go to open outlook is there a way to stop the pop up. I didn't get that before because I thought the mail icon in the control panel was for windows mail. Sorry I was not much help with this one.

Thats quite alright I always like a challenge and this is one I have looked allover Outlook trying to find a setting for Profiles and the only thing i can find is the pop up now when I click on mail and that is it and you do not even get the pop-up which I guess is the problem. I will look some more and post if i find any info.

Airman,

That'd be appreciated. My problem is that it pops up once or twice only not every time I close program and open it again, it just opens up the same as I closed it.
