Offline For Christmas!

I have found Christmas means different things to different people. If I'm totally honest i don't belive in a god but i belive in Christmas because its a time for family and good will and fun! Everyone is extra merry on Christmas and i wish everyone was like that all year round

Even a 20 years old i get the Christmas bug, not for the presents or the food but for being together and looking back and thinking WOW what a year! if it was a bad year i always look forward to the next one and it its been a good one i am thank full and hope the next year is the same.

So this is my last thread until after Christmas and i will keep checking back to hear what Christmas means to you.

Finally MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL! Who ever and what ever your doing!

A Merry Christmas to you and yours. I agree with you on, It would be nice if everybody was Merry and lite all year around.

I do believe in God. I will not go into why I believe and why I know its TRUE.

Like ProCookie, I don't believe in a God either, but my family do, so I respect their believes and give them every support they need to continue with their traditions. The holidays to me are a way to bring families together to enjoy the love we have for one another.

I believe that love should be shown every day of the year, but it has a different meaning during the holidays. The biggest different now, I think, is that the meaning of love has changed so much for so many people. Don't be afraid to tell someone you love them; doesn't matter who or what gender. Love is what Christmas should be all about.

In my words to believe in Christmas is to believe in some sort of God since it was the birth so they say of Jesus and for one me and Grandma believe, so on that note God Bless all who reside on these boards and around the World. Ho Ho Ho Merry Christmas

Something caused the universe to exist. I call that thing God. It's pretty hard not to believe in it unless, of course, you believe that nothing created the universe. But, that's not too bad an idea because science, as well as some religions, say the universe burgeoned from nothing. But, that get's confusing too since the universe contains something and something can't exist without nothing to compare it too. So, nothing caused the universe to exist. Oh my holy nothing or something please help me. I don't know nothing from something. Ok, I've got it now. Something or nothing, which imples possibly both, caused the universe to exits. I call that thing or no-thing God. It's pretty hard not to believe in it since something or no-thing must have caused the universe to exist. I do believe in it even though I am incapable of understanding it at least in the four-dimensional video game of life.

Whatever, yes, its family fun time--in Carlsbad Calif. with kids and grandkids, but, hey, I'll have time to post too.

MERRY and HAPPY whatever, if anything or no-thing, you are celebrating or not.

That frist sentence ... its like we are the same person but two VB users lol but joking aside I belive that one. The frist sentence mainly. I call the thing that created the universe god be it a big bang or whatever however that does not mean I do not be a Cristian.
