Some folks might like this and some WILL NOT. Vista Ultimate has a default setting for the UAC at: [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\Policies\System] "ConsentPromptBehaviorAdmin"=dword:2 I have changed to 1 : when something need to run it, it pops up my admin account, asks for password. click OK and it goes. Much nicer that Are you sure. If you do not want to be ask... change to 0. I love the popup you might also... This is playing with the Registry... so use at your own risk... here are the 3 versions - simply copy and save as 1. UAC-dafault, Quote:

I just like password option Enjoy - remember modifying the registry can be dangerous...
