Recognize this Vista disk?

Does anyone know what these full version dvd's of 32/64 bit vista Ultimate is? Anyone seen these before? Do they look like your Ultimate disks?? I got it off ebay and was wondering if it's legit! I loaded the 32 bit version and registered/activated it with no problems. I'm running it right now.

I received a free copy of Vista Business Edition directly from Microsoft, and except for the designed, everything else is exactly the same as the one posted here. Mine also say 'Not for resale'. I take that to mean that stores are not supposed to sell it. I don't know how the law would apply if sold on eBay or from one individual to another. The OS is genuine though, so it should be no problem activating it.

You also can view all legal and pirate versions (copies) by photos on the MS IS IT LEGIT site... and it tells you how to test yours...

I've heard of those disks yes. I work in a computer shop from time to timeand I was asking my friend who owns the shop if it is illegal to actually copy the disks from microsoft and if you do have a copied disk it is for your own personal use for backing up your Windows Vista DVD and he told me no because Microsoft themselves sell disks without the liscences, as far as I am aware your microsoft software is only illegal if -

-You install the software with the same LISCENCE more than once except if it is an MSDN or VLK liscence which is liscenced for a set amount of PCs

-You have cracked the activation/product key number of the disk using keygens and such and such

What Greyno3 has is not a pirated copy, but an actual MS provided DVD. He bought it on eBay, which tells me that someone received the DVD w/license either directly from MS, as I did, or from some other source. The DVD label indicates that's been manufacture in Puerto Rico; that's doesn't indicate that is counterfeit, as most Vista DVDs are manufactured in Puerto Rico. The question is whether he has legal rights to the DVD; which I’m not sure. The DVD is not supposed to be sold in stores, but I can’t say whether or not it can be sold eBay, since eBay is not technically a store.

I think he has a REAL GENUINE COPY.

You basically have a free genuine disc. It should never be an issue as the software is genuine and legitimate, it's just the person you bought it off got it for free and so shouldn't really have sold it. He is making tax free income from a product he isn't allowed to sell, as you have contacted Microsoft as soon as you received it, you are in the clear... but they may ask you for more information about the seller as they may wish to persue him. As it's one disc it may not matter though. Either way you are ok.

Can I switch to the 64 bit and use the same key since they both came in one package?
