Shutdown Time?

Hi all.

I was wondering if anyone knew where to get the last shutdown time for Windows Vista. I'm currently running the Business version.

I know that in XP, the shutdown time can be seen in the Registry Editor at HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\Windows\ShutdownTime.

But unfortunately, the ShutdownTime key doesn't exist in Vista. Or, at least, can't be found in that location. Does anyone know where I may find it? Thanks!

Yeah, it doesnt exist anymore

BUT!!! You can find all the info you want in the new event viewer!

In the start menu search box just type event viewer... open it

There is ALOT of information, but the stuff you want regarding shutdown times is in Microsoft -> Windows -> Diagnostics - Performance -> Operational.

Happy hunting
