Good one. It's Howdy Doody time. Johnny Carson and the Mickey Mouse club started in the 50's too. I think the 50's were the best of times even for adults. I trade now for then except today's medical advances. Oh, and, as I recall, the original Chipmunks song was 50's--but I definitely could be wrong on this one.

do you think you could live without todays advances in technology? i think i could, one thing my dad learnt me when i was younger is how to survive in the outdoors sounds dull i know but it made me appreciate what its possible we can do with out computers, microwaves and electricity all together. I'm not saying everyone lived in the wild in the 50's by the way Znod i i was referring to a time when i didn't have all the technology we have nowadays. It was quite fun....suprisingly
