Hiya! There are many places on the net that have people posting their experience indexes. This probably wont be too useful as most people who have posted have really high end rigs.

The Nvidia 7600gt is a great cheap card with an experience index of just over 5. If you arent a hardcore gamer then go for it. Otherwise you will need an 800 chipset (7800 or 8800) both which are much more expensive.

Check and make sure you get the correct graphics card for the type of motherboard your system has; PCI, PCIe, AGP. And another thing, get something that you'll know for sure you'll be happy with. Many PC users know what they want, but end up getting something different because of price, availability or being inpatient. Usually, a few weeks or months after they wish they've taken their time to select what they really wanted. Know what you want, what your system can handle and do your research.

The cheapest NVidia Graphics card that I tested as PCI-E 7300GS which allowed AERO.
I also tested a PCI Graphics card form MSI - NVIDIA GeForce FX 5500 which allowed AERO.

Hope this helps.

Unfortunately the support from Microsoft for the 64Bit architecture is dying out, along with the so many offers trying to get users to purchase Vista Ultimate. Maybe they know something we don't know, or they just have too much in their plate. I feel kind of disappointed with their lack of support in these two areas (64Bit and Ultimate).

I agree and so does Walmart - just rec'd EMAIL from them they are lowering there PRICE on all of MS 2007 Products...

In fact I'm about to offer my Office 2007 Enterprise for sale ...
over 95% of my customer base are still XP SP2 or lower... and converting all the 2007 back is getting to be a PITA.

Maybe Microsoft needs Bill Gates back just as Apple needed Steve Jobs.
