Thumbs down vista defragmenter

i don't like the defragmenter on vista, it is very un-informative. unless somebody has found a way to get more info than
"this may take from a few minutes to a few hours"

Smile Try Auslogics

Vista's Defrag program lacks. I still run it on a schedule around 4am but I refuse to do it manually when it won't tell me it's progress.

Auslogics Disk Defrag v1.1.1.195 is free, simple, and has visual.

I like Perfect Disk. Nice visuals and nice options including defragging one's system files and swap file before startup. Not free though.

felix8406 will become famous soon enough

The thing about Vista's defrag, like many on this forum have attested to is that it doesn't provide a clue as far as what is doing, if it's doing anything at all. I really think that MS missed the boat on that application.
