I recently installed Half-life 2 and CS:Source on my computer after getting vista. I love vista by the way but i noticed a 30 fps drop on my benchmark test for CS. Thats unacceptable when playing online so I was wondering if I can boot up XP while still keeping Vista. System Specs 3 ghz 1 gig ram 160 hd Radeon 9800 Pro |

| It depends. Did you install Vista over XP? You can dual-boot if you have a separate partition or separate hard drive, with Vista and XP installed on each.

| This is a concern for me as well. (I am just looking for excuses not to install Vista). Some of the games I play are very graphics dependant, and a slowdown would make them unplayable on my current rig. I guess I am not using vista to test out game playing right now, but still would be nice if we could stay in there. I wonder how much more optimizing they have to do on the support for gaming, especially the ones that are graphically intensive. |

The only game I have tried to run so far, still working out nugs on applications, is Elder Scrolls 4 Oblivion... I have had NO problems at all...I think this is the ONLY program I have installed with NO problems...HA I did have to turn off the sidebar... |
